There are several ways to get involved with your school and with your community through engineering activities and the ESS. Some of the more popular programs for students to contribute to are Superior Science, the Aboriginal Mentorship Program, the Engineers Without Borders Lakehead Chapter, and of course, your Engineering Student Society.
The ESS is volunteer run and we actively welcome new Lakehead engineering undergraduate students to join our team. If you’re interested in getting involved in the society, email ess@lakeheadu.ca or visit us in our office at UC0015.
Directorship positions are a great way to volunteer with the ESS in a flexible way, and there’s a position for everyone, whether you’re interested in photography or finances. The 2023/24 directorship application period closes in September 2023.
